Arsenic treatment: filter media supply contracts in France

The Micr’Eau group has delivered several dozen tonnes of GEH filter media to its best customers, including Semerap (Volvic and Charbonnières), Sioule les Boubles, Régie Eau d’Azur and SDEA Alsace Moselle.

With these regular or multiannual contracts, Micr’Eau has consolidated its position as the French leader in adsorption filtration for arsenic removal.

In March 2025, the Micr’Eau group won the world’s largest arsenic services contract (2 Meuros) with the Sacyr Agua group. 240 tonnes of GEH filter media delivered and 12 sites monitored over three years around Santiago de Chile.
After the multi-year contract obtained 4 months ago with the Esval concessionaire, Micr’Eau confirms its position as Chilean leader in the sector.

MICR’EAU has won the largest project in Chile for the supply and installation of 150 T of #GEH to treat #arsenic in drinking water plants in the central zone near the Pacific.

As part of its arsenic treatment needs, Micr’Eau Chile imports and stocks several dozen tons of GEH filter media in Santiago and northern Chile to serve its mining and water concession customers.

This GEH product is required for the treatment of arsenic-contaminated drinking water, but also for industrial water and contaminated soil.

Micr’Eau has been a leader in these sectors in France and Chile for over a decade.

Micr’Eau has delivered several tens of tons of filtering media to its French and international customers over the past two months, such as:

  • 20 T of GEH to treat arsenic in Chile
  • 4T of Bayoxide E33 to eliminate arsenic for an agri-food manufacturer in France
  • 10 T of Mangagran to treat iron and manganese in Tunisia
  • 10 T of activated alumina at the  SAURgroup in France for its drinking water units.
