In March 2025, the Micr’Eau group won the world’s largest arsenic services contract (2 Meuros) with the Sacyr Agua group. 240 tonnes of GEH filter media delivered and 12 sites monitored over three years around Santiago de Chile.
After the multi-year contract obtained 4 months ago with the Esval concessionaire, Micr’Eau confirms its position as Chilean leader in the sector.
MICR’EAU has won the largest project in Chile for the supply and installation of 150 T of #GEH to treat #arsenic in drinking water plants in the central zone near the Pacific.
Our Group has thus consolidated its position as leader in the Latin American region. Looking forward to other contracts of the same calibre in Europe.
At the BIG event organised by bpifrance in Paris, Micr’Eau Chairman Pascal Guasp was interviewed on the subject of international development.
Micr’Eau has won with the water operator ESVAL (Valparaiso region) a public call for the supply of filtering media for arsenic treatment and the associated service (removal of the saturated media Bayoxide; installation of the new GEH and the filter underlay).
This contract will be executed during the November-December period with the support of our two Chilean subsidiaries AEC and ABM, dedicated to construction and environmental services.
The Punta Piedra station treats 7200m3/d of drinking water to supply the Serena and Coquimbo, two cities located 500 km north of Santiago de Chile.
